• Sunburn: You can expect a sunburn feeling on treated skin. It usually lasts for one or two days. You can use mild cool lotion and moisturizer for reducing sunburn effect.

For how long the laser hair removal treatments remain effective? 

Laser treatment lasts for a longer period, but multiple sessions are needed. Laser rays are effective when hairs are in growth phase (Anagen Phase). Hairs cannot remain in anagen phase at one single time. There will be some hairs which will grow after the first session. To remove these hairs, additional sessions are required.

Laser treatment sessions depend on the skin area to be treated. For instance, back, chest and leg area will require more sessions than upper lip and chin area.

Permanent Laser Hair Removal 

Generally Laser Hair removal treatment is considered as the Permanent Method of Hair removal. Usually its effect remains for at least 6 to 8 months. Other methods like waxing, shaving and electrolysis effect last up to 2 or 3 weeks.

There is a possibility that hair will grow again after first treatment since some hairs are not fully developed during first session and you may need multiple sessions for permanent hair removal.

Regrown hairs will be weak and shorter length. Subsequent session will completely remove hair from your skin. You should also notice the long gap between sessions. The gap between first and second session is of 6 months in this treatment while in case of shaving and waxing it is up to 6 weeks.

Laser hair removal treatment is considered permanent as a person does not have to go frequently for multiple sessions.

Laser Hair Removal Treatment Cost

Many people do not go for laser hair treatment because they find it expensive. It is true that compared to other hair removal methods like shaving and electrolysis it is expensive. Professional and Experienced clinic would cost around $500-$1000 per session.  But, it is worth spending your money.

Laser hair removal treatment last up to 6 to 8 months. On the other hand, if you try old methods like shaving or waxing, their effect will remain up to 4 or 5 weeks. After this, you have to go for hair removal again. So, in the long run it is more beneficial and time saving treatment.

The cost of the treatment is not fixed, it depends on what part of body you want to be treated. For instance, underarm, upper lip will cost you less than shoulder, leg and back.
