Shaving Cream

Shaving Cream

A Shaving Cream is a kind of a potion applied in order to avoid a razor burn.
In the modern days, it can be even found in the form of foam.

Shaving Cream is commonly used to produce leather by common use of a shaving brush as required by those who require a wet shave.

A Shaving Cream is basically chemically based on glycerin soaps that are alcohol free in their nature.

Glycerin is a natural compound, a natural part of fat or oil. The glycerin in the cream causes the water used to soften the hair providing a wet and a comparatively easier shave.

A common active ingredient of a shaving cream is calcium thio-glycolate, which breaks down the disulfide bonds in keratin and weakens the hair so that it is easily scraped off where it emerges from the hair follicle.

Nowadays shaving gel or foam is also available for the purpose of easy shaving. These products contain alcohol as their main ingredient which gives the user a dry shave.
